One year ago. We sat, hungover at a café here in Malmö. Marcus Cato was, as always, complaining about new music. That he hadn’t heard anything truly new, interesting or emotionally captivating since the days of rag time. Since he is one of the absolutely most talented musicians we have heard we challenged him. We would buy him a recording device and in return he would deliver 3 tracks a week for one year. We would then choose the best one and put it up on our site. And the work begun, and soon it is over, for now….

It’s an imprint of a person. We have drained him of music. The music is meant as a whole.

Just as we did half time, we will put the second half of the year for you to download. Next week, April 1, we put the 52nd track up there and at the same time we will let you download the second half 26 tracks of the Cato year.
