Let us present the debut album – neatly entitled “0001” - from Malmö pop-kraut outfit ”This Is Head”! Out in Scandinavia the 17th of march and in Europe the 16th of august.
From the first time This Is Head started playing different venues and spots around their hometown of Malmö they have assumed a natural place in the centre of all things great. Their take on kraut disco meets smart indie rock fit in perfectly from the start. Since then, they have evolved into something much greater; a confident machine that seems made for the times we live in. Yet they sound timeless. The growth seems to have been rapid, but it was all at their own pace, in their own time.
0001 sounds as much like the wet streets around Möllevången square in Malmö as they do any spacious warehouse in Brooklyn or deserted parking garage in a remote part of Düsseldorf. Their curiosity has placed them anywhere and nowhere. They are as eager to consume new and old things as any blog, club or DJ out there. They have grown without any blinders on, while at the same time honing their sound in their own studio, within their own universe. They have built their songs and their confidence in themselves without feeling any pressure. They never thought of a song with the idea of sounding like Yeasayer joining up with the drummer from Neu! in an effort to play unreleased songs by U2 just so they could be mixed by Dan Lissvik from Studio and then be released by Touch & Go. That just happened.

One of the most attended electronica albums of 2009 was Andreas Tilliander’s 4th album under his birth given name – Show.
We have now come to the second half of the story of ”Show” and now Andreas Tilliander is releasing the sequel - the 12” vinyl “Showtime”. A rock hard uncompromised dub/dub-step influenced EP with 2 new Andreas Tilliander tracks and 2 exceptional remixes.
A1 - Stay King (feat. King Solo)
The NYC-rapper King Solo added vocals to the instrumental track ”Stay Downer” featured on the album ”Show” and Andreas recreated the track to a dance floor crawling piece ready for dark and small places.
A2 - Medication
The track started off with a remix of the track ”Medicine” from ”Show” but the bastard cut loose and walked a path where we don’t really are to follow.
B1 - She Don't Cry (Minilogue's Inca Dub)
Lovers of electronic music have been esteeming Minilogue for many years. Nowadays it is almost impossible to imagine club music without these two musicians from Malmö, Sweden. After releasing outstanding productions on such renowned labels as Traum, Crosstown Rebels or Wagon Repair, their opus magnum “Animals” was released on Sven Väths Cocoon Recordings in 2008. We are proud to present a remix from these world stars knowing that their work not comes in quantities.
B2 - Caught in a Riot (feat. New Moscow) (Erase Remix)
“Caught in a Riot” was the first single from the album ”Show”. This is a fantastic deep secret remix from your new favorite - Erase.
In addition to this release we also releases ONE video done with BOTH tracks – ”Medication” and ”Stay King”. The video is mentally disturbing and totally disrespectfully done by the production office “Varelsen” that also is responsible for the now classic video to the track “Hitchhikers Choice” from Minilogue.
The video was exclusively released in collaboration with R.fm
While much has happened since the " Det snurrar i min skalle” epidemic spread, so too is the groove, drive and the sudden impulses just as knock-out this time. Take the maxed out Motown drums and distorted bass on upcoming single " När planeterna stannat". It screams attention again topped with Sami Sirviö hurdy gurdy guitar that once again drag us out on the dance floor.
Year 2007 was a welcome surprise. This time, you are forewarned. Familjen is back – bigger and more blockbusting than ever.
